Setting Up Welcome Messages
Send a warm, personalised greeting automatically the first time a new customer messages your WhatsApp number.

How to do it
Go to Automation → Welcome Messages
Click Automation in the left sidebar and select Welcome Messages.
Toggle "Enable Welcome Message" on
Switch the Enable Welcome Message toggle to on.
Write your welcome message
Write the message new customers will receive. Use {{name}} to personalise with the customer's name if it's available (e.g. "Hi {{name}}! Welcome to [Your Business]. How can we help you today?").
Save your settings
Click Save. The welcome message is now active. It will only be sent once per contact — repeat messages from the same customer will not trigger it again.
First-time contacts only: The welcome message fires only for contacts who have never messaged your number before. Returning customers do not receive it again.
